The Brindley wall light has a distinctive swing arm design, with a dome shade that tilts and swivels on two knuckle joints so you can point the light exactly where you want it. It brings an industrial, workshop feel to a room while still working as a practical reading or task light.

Smooth Copper In Soot

This Brindley is finished in Soot, a deep charcoal grey powder coat that covers the dome shade and the wall bracket. Inside the shade, and on the two adjustable joints, the metal is left as smooth, polished copper, so the warm metal catches the light against the matte grey body. It is a strong contrast finish, dark and understated on the outside, bright and warm within.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand itself launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later moved to Llandrindod Wells in Powys, where it grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. This Brindley wall light carries that same copper hot forging through to its shade and fittings, made at the same Welsh workshop.
