An Adjustable Wall Light With Real Character
The Brindley wall light is a directional design that swings and tilts on a jointed copper arm, so you can angle the light exactly where you need it. It has a rounded dome shade, a fixed wall rose, and the kind of solid, handmade weight that only comes from real metal.
The Heath Finish In Smooth Copper
This version is made from solid copper and finished in Heath, an earthy, muted green that sits somewhere between olive and moss. The green covers the outside of the shade, arm, and wall rose, while the inside of the shade and the rim stay in bright, unlacquered copper, so the light bounces off a warm metallic surface when the bulb is on.
How It Works
- Spun from solid copper with a two piece adjustable arm, so the shade can be angled up, down, or to the side.
- Takes one 6W max LED E14 bulb (bulb not supplied).
- Dimmable, if you fit a dimmable bulb.
- Lamp measures 139mm in diameter by 124mm high, with a projection of 224mm from the wall.
- Wall rose measures 105mm in diameter by 20mm deep.
Where It Works Best
Its adjustable head makes it a practical choice for hallways and staircases, where you can direct light exactly where it is needed. It also works well either side of a bed in a bedroom, or as reading and task lighting in a living room, dining room, or kitchen.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand itself launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business later moved to Llandrindod Wells in Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting, and homeware. It still hand forges steel and hot forges brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. This Brindley wall light in solid copper carries that same hand forged approach into a room lit by lamplight rather than daylight.

- Is this wall light dimmable? Yes, it works with dimmer switches as long as you fit a dimmable LED bulb.
- What bulb does it take? It takes one E14 bulb rated at 6W maximum LED, and the bulb is not included.
- Can I return this light if I change my mind? No, this fitting is handmade to order in Wales, so it cannot be returned once it has been ordered.
- How far does the shade reach from the wall? The lamp projects 224mm from the wall, with a wall rose measuring 105mm in diameter.
