From The Anvil Smooth Copper Brindley Wall Light - Dingle (Rich Green)

The Brindley wall light has an adjustable arm on two knuckle joints, so you can tilt and swivel the shade to point light exactly where you want it rather than settle for a fixed glow. It suits anyone who wants task lighting with a bit of character, not just a flat wall fitting.

This version is finished in a rich, matte Dingle green on the shade and backplate, with the underlying solid copper left polished and exposed at the rim, the shade interior, and both knuckle joints. Switch it on and the light bounces off that bright copper interior, warming the glow before it reaches the room.

How It Works

• Wall mounted on a solid copper backplate, 105mm in diameter and 20mm deep.
• An adjustable arm with knuckle joints at the wall plate and below the shade lets you angle the light up, down, or across.
• Takes a single 6W maximum LED bulb with an E14 fitting. The bulb is not included.
• Works with dimmable bulbs, so you can dim the light if you fit a dimmable LED.
• The shade is 139mm in diameter and 124mm high, projecting 224mm out from the wall.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells in Powys and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, made at the same Welsh workshop. This Brindley shade and arm are shaped from that same solid copper using those hot forging methods, then hand finished in Dingle green before it leaves the workshop.
