The Brindley pendant is one of From The Anvil's dome shaped lights, shaped to throw its glow downward and give real presence over a kitchen island or dining table. This version pairs a solid copper build with a strong exterior colour, so the shade reads as a considered piece rather than a plain fitting.

Smooth Copper in Dingle Green

This Brindley is spun from solid copper and finished with a smooth, matte coat in Dingle, a deep rich green. The exterior carries that colour evenly across the dome, while the inside of the shade is left in bright polished copper. The contrast shows every time the light is switched on, with the copper throwing a warm glow back down through the green shell.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand itself launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later moved to Llandrindod Wells in Powys, where it grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later on, made at the same Welsh workshop, and this Brindley pendant is shaped and finished there by the same hands.

• What bulb does this pendant take? It takes one E27 bulb rated at 6W maximum, and needs an LED bulb since it is LED only. The bulb is not included.
• Is this pendant dimmable? Yes, it is dimmable as long as you fit a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
• What is included with the pendant? Each order comes with the copper Brindley shade, a matching ceiling rose, 1.5m of black fabric cable and all the fixings needed to hang it.
