A Cluster of Earthy Green Shades With a Warm Copper Glow
The Brindley cluster pendant gathers five to six dome shades from a single ceiling rose, each one spun from solid copper and finished in an earthy Heath green. Hung together at staggered heights, it turns a plain ceiling light into a real focal point, especially where there's a run of table or worktop below for the shades to spread out over.
Smooth Copper Finished in Heath Green
Each shade starts as a single sheet of spun copper, then is hand finished in a smooth, matte Heath green on the outside. The inside of every shade is left in polished copper, so the metal still shows through and throws a warm coppery glow down and around the rim once it's lit. Small variations in tone between shades are part of the hand finishing rather than a flaw.
How It Works
- Supplied as a cluster of five to six pendant shades, wired from a single round ceiling rose with all the fixings needed to hang it.
- Each shade hangs on its own cable with a minimum drop of 1500mm from the ceiling rose, so the cluster can be staggered to the height you want.
- Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
- Each shade takes one LED bulb rated up to 6W with an E27 fitting, bulb not included.
Where It Works Best
With several shades spreading out at different heights, this cluster works well wherever there's room underneath for it, over a dining table, above a kitchen island, or dropped down a stairwell or hallway. It also suits a living room seating area or a larger bedroom, anywhere the earthy green and copper combination can stand out against a plainer wall or ceiling.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business went on to relocate to Llandrindod Wells in Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware. Steel is still hand forged there today, and brass and copper are hot forged using the same traditional methods alongside more modern engineering. The copper shades on this cluster pendant are spun and finished by hand at that same Welsh workshop, part of the lighting range the company has grown alongside its original ironmongery products.
