From The Anvil Smooth Copper Brindley Cluster Pendant - Dusk (Dark Blue/Grey)

The Brindley Cluster Pendant brings together five to six domed shades on a single ceiling rose, each one hung at a different height to build a layered, sculptural fitting rather than a single hanging light. This version is finished in Dusk, a deep blue grey that pairs a cool, muted exterior with a warm copper glow underneath.

The Dusk Finish

Each shade is spun from solid copper, then coated in a matte Dusk finish on the outside, a deep blue grey that reads almost slate in daylight. The inside of every shade is left as polished copper, so once a bulb is fitted the warm copper glow shows through against the cooler exterior colour. It is a two tone effect that changes character between day and night.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working with his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop. The copper in this cluster pendant is shaped and finished using those same hot forging methods, in the workshop where the brand still makes every piece by hand today.
