A Cluster of Smooth Copper Domes in Bluff Grey
The Brindley cluster pendant groups five to six dome shaped shades under one ceiling rose, each one spun from solid copper and finished in Bluff, a soft, warm toned grey. Hanging the domes at staggered heights turns the single Brindley shape into a fuller, layered fixture rather than a row of matching lights.
The Bluff Grey Finish
Bluff is a soft, taupe leaning grey painted over the smooth copper shade, giving the fitting a calmer, more neutral look than bare metal. The inside of each dome is left in polished copper, so once a bulb is on, the light spills out with a warm coppery glow rather than a flat white wash.
How It Works
- Cluster of five to six pendant domes, each hung from a single round ceiling rose 400mm in diameter and 30mm deep.
- Each dome measures 260mm in diameter and 270mm high, with a minimum overall drop of 1500mm from the ceiling rose.
- Takes one LED bulb per dome, rated up to 6W with an E27 fitting. Bulbs are not included.
- Dimmable when fitted with dimmable LED bulbs.
Where It Works Best
The staggered drop suits a dining table or kitchen island where the varying heights add movement, or a hallway or stairwell with room for the cluster to spread out. Its soft grey tone also settles well into a bedroom or living room without competing with the rest of the scheme.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working with his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop. This Bluff grey Brindley cluster is one of those later additions, its copper domes spun and hand finished there before being grouped onto a single ceiling rose.

- Wipe the painted exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which can wear through the Bluff finish and dull the copper interior.
