The Hockley pendant is a bold, cone shaped light with a wide, brass lined shade. This Heath version pairs a matte, earthy green exterior with a polished brass interior, so it reads as a quiet, tonal piece by day and comes alive with a warm reflected glow once it's switched on.
The Heath Finish
The shade is made from solid brass, then finished by hand with a smooth, matte green paint called Heath on the outside. The inside is left as natural polished brass, so the contrast between the muted green shell and the warm metallic lining is the whole point of the design. The ceiling rose is finished to match.
How It Works
- Takes one E27 LED bulb, 6W maximum (bulb not included)
- Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb
- Supplied fully wired with a matching Heath green ceiling rose and all the fixings needed to hang it
- 1.5m of black fabric cable provided as standard
- Shade measures 510mm across and 290mm high, with a 120mm diameter ceiling rose
Where It Works Best
Its scale and simple, strong shape make it a good single fitting over a kitchen island or dining table, where the brass interior throws a warm pool of light downward. It also suits a hallway or living room, either on its own as a statement piece or grouped in a cluster of two or three over a run of worktop or table.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop. The Heath green Hockley shade carries that same hand finishing through every stage, from the raw brass spinning to the painted exterior.

It takes a single E27 LED bulb rated up to 6W maximum. The bulb is not included.
Is this pendant dimmable?
Yes, as long as it's fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb. A standard, non dimmable bulb will not dim even on a dimmer circuit.
