A Statement Dome With Real Weight
The Harborne pendant is a bold half dome design, roomy enough to throw genuine light without losing its classic profile. Hung low over a table or grouped in a run above a kitchen island, it reads as a proper fitting rather than an afterthought.
Smooth Brass Finish
This version is made from solid brass and finished smooth rather than textured, so the surface stays clean and reflective with no visible hammer marks. The polished exterior throws back light from the room, and the inside of the dome is left equally bright, so once a bulb is fitted it bounces a warm, golden glow back down and out under the rim.
How It Works
- Takes one LED bulb, E27 fitting, 6W maximum (bulb not included).
- Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
- Supplied fully wired with a matching ceiling rose and all necessary fixings.
- 1.5m of black fabric cable provided as standard.
- Shade measures 400mm in diameter and 270mm in height, with a 120mm diameter ceiling rose.
Where It Works Best
The scale and single point of light suit kitchens and dining rooms particularly well, either as one fitting centred over a table or in a row above an island. It also works in living rooms and hallways where a single warm pendant gives a room its focal point.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop. The Harborne's brass dome is hot forged there using that same process, one finish at a time.
