A Sleek Silhouette in River Toned Blue
The Frankley pendant is a single ceiling light with a smooth, contemporary shape that flares out into a wide dome. This one is finished in Upstream, a river toned blue that gives the fitting a distinctive, polished look without losing the pendant's clean lines.
Smooth Brass in an Upstream Finish
The Frankley's brass body is finished smooth rather than textured, then painted in Upstream blue on the outside. The brass is left exposed inside the shade, so once a bulb is fitted, the interior glistens and throws a soft, warm glow down and out into the room.
How It Works
- Lamp measures 412mm in diameter and 240mm high, with a 106mm diameter ceiling rose.
- Supplied fully wired with a matching ceiling rose and all the fixings needed to hang it.
- Comes with 1m of black fabric cable as standard.
- Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
- Takes one LED bulb rated up to 6W with an E27 fitting, bulb not included.
Where It Works Best
Hung on its own, the Frankley works as a single statement fitting over a dining table. Grouped in twos or threes, it makes a bolder statement above a kitchen island. Its Upstream blue finish also suits a bedroom, living room or hallway where a splash of colour overhead can stand out against plainer walls.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business went on to relocate to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware that still hand forges steel and hot forges brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting came into the range later, and the Frankley pendant carries that same handmade approach, forged in Mid Wales and finished by hand in its Upstream blue rather than sprayed on a production line.

Questions People Ask
Is the Frankley pendant in Upstream blue dimmable?
Yes, as long as it's fitted with a dimmable LED bulb. A standard, non dimmable bulb won't allow it to be dimmed even with a compatible dimmer switch.
Does it come with a bulb?
No, bulbs are sold separately. The fitting takes one LED bulb with an E27 base, rated at 6W maximum.
Is the brass visible anywhere on this pendant?
Yes. The Upstream blue finish is on the outside of the shade only. The inside is left in smooth brass, so it glistens and reflects a warm glow once the bulb is lit.
Why is this pendant non returnable?
Each one is made to order at From The Anvil's Welsh workshop rather than held as ready made stock, so orders can't be returned once placed.
