A Sleek Silhouette in Slate
The Frankley pendant has a broad, curved shade that narrows to a slim neck, a shape that feels part industrial, part refined. In this Slate colourway it brings a cool, contemporary grey into a room, without losing the warmth a metal pendant gives once it is switched on.
Smooth Brass Interior, Slate Exterior
Outside, the shade is coated in a matte mid grey Slate with a soft, chalky texture rather than a shine. Inside, it is left in smooth brass, polished to a warm gold that bounces the light back down and gives the whole fitting a gentle glow once lit.

- Hangs from a matching Slate ceiling rose measuring 106mm in diameter and 20mm deep
- Supplied fully wired with 1m of black fabric cable, the ceiling rose and all fixings needed to hang it

From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working with his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop.
This Frankley pendant in Slate is shaped and finished at that same workshop, its brass interior hot forged the same way the company has worked with the metal since Mark Underhill first started out in 1996.
