A Bold Silhouette With a Moody Twist
The Frankley pendant brings a sleek, retro inspired dome shape to the ceiling, with a wide, flared shade that catches the eye whether the light is on or off. This Dusk edition trades the brand's classic finishes for a deep, dark blue grey exterior, giving the same confident shape a softer, more atmospheric feel.
Smooth Brass and a Dusk Exterior
The shade is hot forged in smooth brass at From The Anvil's Welsh workshop, then coated in a dark, twilight toned Dusk on the outside. Inside, the brass is left polished and uncoated, so once a bulb is lit it throws a warm golden glow down and around the room. The contrast between the matte blue grey exterior and the gleaming brass interior is the character of this fitting, subtle from across the room and striking up close.
How It Works
- Supplied fully wired with a matching Dusk ceiling rose and all necessary fixings.
- 1m of black fabric cable is provided as standard.
- Takes one LED bulb, 6W maximum, E27 fitting. Bulb not included.
- Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
- The shade measures 412mm in diameter and 240mm in height. The ceiling rose measures 106mm in diameter and 20mm deep.
Where It Works Best
Its wide shade and downward throw make it a natural fit above a dining table or kitchen island, where a single fitting or a row of two or three can anchor the space. It works just as well as a statement piece in a bedroom, living room or hallway, anywhere a bold shape and a warm glow are welcome.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business later relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware. Lighting joined the range later, still hand forged and hot forged from the same Welsh workshop using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. The Frankley pendant carries that same hands on approach, its shade hot forged and finished by hand before it ever reaches your ceiling.
