A Sleek Dome Pendant in Warm Grey
The Frankley pendant has a smooth, contemporary dome shape, spun from solid brass and dressed in Bluff, a warm, taupe toned grey. Hang it on its own for a clean, single statement, or line up two or three in a row above a kitchen worktop or island for a bolder look.
Finished in Bluff
Bluff is a soft, warm grey coating applied over the outside of the dome, while the inside keeps its natural brass, left polished and uncoated. Once a bulb is lit, that brass interior glistens and sends a warm glow down and out from under the grey shade, so the two finishes work together rather than one hiding the other.
How It Works
- Single dome pendant, supplied fully wired with a matching ceiling rose and all the fixings needed to hang it.
- Comes with 1m of black fabric cable as standard.
- Takes one LED bulb rated up to 6W with an E27 fitting, bulb not included.
- Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
- Dome measures 412mm in diameter and 240mm high, with a 106mm diameter ceiling rose, 20mm deep.
Where It Works Best
Its wide, flared shade suits a kitchen hung low over an island or a run of worktop, where its glow spreads across the surface below. It works just as well on its own in a dining room, living room, bedroom or hallway, wherever a warm pool of light is wanted rather than a hard, direct beam.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working with his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. The Frankley pendant's brass dome is shaped at that same Welsh workshop, with the Bluff grey finish applied over the top by hand rather than baked on in a single mass produced batch.
