A Sleek Update on a Classic Shape
The Frankley pendant swaps the usual hammered texture for a smooth, polished surface, giving it a cleaner and more contemporary feel. Spun from solid brass, it has a rounded dome shade that throws a soft, warm glow once lit.
Smooth Brass Finish
This version is finished in smooth brass rather than the hammered texture used elsewhere in the Frankley range. The surface is polished to a warm gold tone, so light reflects cleanly across it instead of catching in texture. Hang it alone for a simple statement piece, or line several up in a row above a kitchen island or dining table for a bolder effect.
How It Works
- Solid brass pendant supplied fully wired with a matching ceiling rose, 1m of black fabric cable and all necessary fixings.
- Shade measures 412mm in diameter and 240mm high, with a 106mm diameter ceiling rose.
- Takes one 6W max LED bulb with an E14 fitting. The bulb is not included.
- Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.

The Frankley's clean brass finish suits kitchens, dining rooms, living rooms, hallways and bedrooms. Use it low over a table or island for task lighting, or hang it in a hallway or bedroom for a softer, ambient glow.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. This smooth brass Frankley shade comes from that same Welsh workshop, carrying on the brand's original forging skills into a more contemporary finish.
