A Wall Light Shaped By Nature
The Flora wall light takes its name from curves that echo the folds of a flower petal. This is the smooth brass version finished in Upstream, a deep river blue that wraps around the outside while the inside stays bright, polished brass. An adjustable brass knuckle joint lets you angle the shade exactly where you want the light to fall.
Smooth Brass In Upstream Blue
The shade is spun from solid brass, then finished with a smooth matte coat of Upstream blue on the outside. Turn it over and the brass shows through unpainted, polished to a warm gold that reflects the bulb's glow back into the room. The wavy edge of the shade is shaped by hand, so it catches the light a little differently from every angle. The arm and wall rose are finished in the same blue, with polished brass at each joint.

Where It Works Best
Its adjustable arm and warm, downward glow make it a natural fit for a bedroom, either side of a bed for reading light, or along a hallway to break up a run of blank wall. It works just as well in a dining room or living room as an accent light, or in a kitchen where a single wall light is needed rather than an overhead fitting.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business later relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware. Steel is still hand forged and brass and copper still hot forged using traditional methods alongside modern engineering, and lighting like this Flora wall light is produced at the same Welsh workshop.

It takes one 6W maximum LED E14 bulb, which is not included, so you will need to add one before fitting.

Yes, as long as you fit a dimmable LED bulb. The fitting itself does not include a dimmer switch.

Yes, the brass knuckle joint on the arm lets you tilt the shade up or down to direct the light where you need it.
