A Wall Light With Real Movement
The Flora wall light takes its shape from a single curling petal, cast with soft, undulating edges that catch the light rather than simply reflecting it. An adjustable arm with two brass knuckle joints lets you angle the shade up, down or to the side, so the light lands exactly where you want it. It belongs to the wider Flora family, alongside the Flora pendant and the Flora cluster pendant, making it easy to build a coordinated scheme.
Smooth Brass, Finished In Soot
This piece is made from solid brass, shaped using From The Anvil's smooth finishing process for a clean, even surface. The outside of the shade and the wall rose are dressed in a dark grey Soot coating, while the inside of the shade, the knuckle joints and the fixings are left in polished brass. The contrast means the shade glows gold from within once the bulb is lit, even though the fitting itself reads dark and understated on the wall.

Where It Works Best
Its warm, downward glow and compact size make it a natural fit for hallways and staircases, where the adjustable arm is useful for directing light along a run of stairs. It also works well either side of a bed as a reading light, or as an accent in a dining room, living room or kitchen where a warm, characterful light is welcome.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand itself launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later relocated to Llandrindod Wells in Powys and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later on, produced at the same Welsh workshop, and this Flora wall light carries that same hand finished, small batch approach into a fitting made for everyday use.

Can I adjust the angle of the shade?
Yes. The arm has two knuckle joints, one at the wall rose and one at the shade, so you can angle the light up, down or to the side.
Does it come with a bulb?
No. It takes one 6W max LED E14 bulb, which is not supplied.
Can I dim this light?
Yes, as long as you fit a dimmable LED bulb. The fitting itself does not include a dimmer switch.
