A wall light with a curling, hand shaped shade
The Flora wall light takes its shape from a single curling petal, its edge rising and falling in a soft wave rather than a straight line. It sits on a double knuckle joint arm that lets you angle the shade once it is fitted, so the light can be aimed where you actually need it. It is part of the wider Flora family, and pairs naturally with the matching Flora pendant if you want a coordinated scheme across a room.
The Heath finish
This version is hand finished in Heath, an earthy green that covers the outside of the shade and the wall mounting rose. Inside the shade, the metal is left in smooth, polished brass, so the warm glow of the bulb catches and reflects off the brass lining as it spills out from under the curved petal edge. The knuckle joints and arm connectors are also left in bright brass, giving a clean contrast against the green.

Where It Works Best
The curved shade and adjustable arm make this a good fit either side of a bed as a reading light, along a hallway or staircase, or as a feature in a living or dining room. Its earthy green tone works well in bedrooms, dining rooms, living rooms, hallways and kitchens alike.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand itself launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later relocated to Llandrindod Wells in Powys and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. This Flora wall light is hand forged from solid brass at that same Welsh workshop, then finished in Heath green by hand.
