The Flora wall light brings a hand shaped, wave edged shade to a simple wall fitting. Its scalloped brass profile catches the light at every angle, giving even a single wall light real presence in a hallway or above a console table.
Smooth Brass, Dusk Finish
The shade is spun from solid brass and left in a smooth, polished finish, so the metal keeps its natural warmth and shine rather than being lacquered flat. Look inside the shade and that same brass reflects the bulb's glow back down, warming the light before it reaches the room. The arm, knuckle joint and circular wall plate are powder coated in Dusk, a deep, blue grey that reads almost slate in daylight. The pairing gives the fitting a coastal edge next to the warmth of the brass shade.

Where It Works Best

From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working with his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop. The Flora wall light's spun brass shade and hand finished knuckle joint come out of that same workshop, using the hot forging methods the family business has built its name on.

No. Every From The Anvil fitting is handmade to order in Wales, so it cannot be returned once it has been ordered.
