A Wall Light Shaped by Natural Curves

The Flora wall light takes its shape from a soft, sculpted flower form, with a shade that ripples and waves at the edge instead of running to a straight line. It throws light both up towards the ceiling and down across the wall, giving a gentle, ambient glow rather than a single hard beam.

Smooth Brass and Bluff Grey

This version is finished in Bluff, a warm, taupe toned grey, on the outside of the shade, while the inside is left in a smooth, polished brass that catches the light from the bulb. The arm, knuckle joints and circular wall plate are all in the same smooth brass, giving a warm metallic contrast against the matte grey shade.

How It Works

• Fully adjustable arm with two brass knuckle joints, so you can angle the shade up, down or swing it out from the wall
• Takes a single E14 bulb, ideally a 6W max LED (bulb not supplied)
• Works with a dimmer switch when fitted with a dimmable LED bulb
• Shade measures 217mm in diameter with a 224mm projection from the wall; the circular wall plate is 105mm in diameter

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop. The Flora wall light's curved, hand finished shade and brass fittings carry that same workshop craft through into a piece made for everyday use on the wall.
