The Flora Cluster Pendant gathers several sculpted, flower shaped shades at staggered heights from a single ceiling point, each one spun from brass and finished with a gently waved edge that catches the light as it falls. It works well anywhere a single pendant would look too plain and a full chandelier too formal.
The Teasel Finish
This pendant is finished in Teasel, a soft off white with a warm, parchment like tone rather than a stark white. The brass frame underneath keeps a smooth, polished finish, so the fittings and cord grips at the top of each shade still show a warm metallic gleam against the pale shade below. Every shade shares the same gently waved, hand shaped edge that runs through the wider Flora range.
How It Works
- Five to six shades hang from a single round ceiling rose, 105mm in diameter, so the whole cluster lights as one fitting even though every shade sits at its own height.
- Each shade takes one 6W max LED E27 bulb, not supplied, so you can choose the exact warmth and brightness you want.
- Dimmable when used with dimmable LED bulbs, so you can turn the pendant down for evenings.
- Each shade measures 217mm in diameter, 63mm high, with a 224mm projection, small enough that the cluster reads as delicate rather than heavy.
Where It Works Best
Its staggered heights make it a natural fit above a dining table or kitchen island, where the different levels catch the eye without blocking the view across the table. It also suits a stairwell or hallway with room to spread out, and works equally well as a softer, more sculptural centrepiece in a living room or bedroom.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering, with lighting produced at the same Welsh workshop. The soft, hand shaped curves of this Flora shade owe a lot to that same hands on approach to metalwork.
