The Flora Cluster Pendant gathers five sculpted, petal shaped shades onto one round ceiling rose, each hung at its own staggered height so the whole fitting reads as a single cascading feature rather than a row of matching lights.
This version is finished in Smooth Brass with a Bluff coating, a warm, taupe toned grey that sits over an unhammered, smooth brass surface. Where the coating is thinner, at the rim of each shade and along the curves, the brass underneath shows through, giving every shade a warmed, uneven edge rather than one flat colour.
How It Works
- A cluster of five shades hangs from black braided flex, gathered at a single round ceiling rose.
- Each shade takes its own 6W max LED E27 bulb, not supplied.
- Works with a dimmer switch when fitted with dimmable LED bulbs.
- The ceiling rose measures 105mm in diameter and 20mm deep. Each shade measures 217mm in diameter, 63mm deep, with a 224mm projection.
- Comes ready to be wired in by a qualified electrician, with ceiling fixings included.
Where It Works Best
Hung low over a dining table, this cluster becomes the room's focal point, its staggered heights doing the work a single pendant cannot. It also suits a stairwell or open landing, where the different drop lengths can spread out across the space, and works just as well in a living room, bedroom, hallway or kitchen wherever there is height to let it hang properly.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand itself launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business went on to relocate to Llandrindod Wells in Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware. Steel is still hand forged there, and brass and copper still hot forged using traditional methods alongside modern engineering, with lighting like this Flora cluster produced at the same Welsh workshop. The Bluff finish on this pendant is applied to that same hand shaped brass, so the warm grey tone and the metal beneath both come from the same process.
