The Brindley wall light is a fully adjustable fitting, built to angle its light exactly where you need it. Two brass knuckle joints let the arm swing out from the wall and the shade tilt up or down, so one fitting can wash a wall with light or aim a beam onto a reading spot. In this striking Upstream blue, it works as a design feature in its own right, not just a light source.
A Striking Upstream Blue Finish
This Brindley is cast in solid brass, then finished on the outside in a deep, river toned blue that Moonlight calls Upstream. The matte blue on the shade, arm and wall rose contrasts beautifully with the polished brass knuckle joints. Turn the shade over and the interior stays in bright, polished brass, so switching the light on reveals a warm brass glow inside the blue exterior.
How It Works
- Two brass knuckle joints, one at the wall and one at the shade, let you swing the arm and tilt the shade to direct the light where you want it.
- Takes one 6W max LED E14 bulb, not supplied.
- Dimmable if used with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.
- The shade measures 139mm in diameter and 124mm high, projecting 224mm from the wall. The wall rose is 105mm in diameter and 20mm deep.
Where It Works Best
This adjustable wall light suits bedrooms well, especially fitted either side of the bed as directional reading lights. It also works nicely in hallways, dining rooms, kitchens and living rooms, anywhere you want a light that can be angled to task or used as a colourful accent.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later moved to Llandrindod Wells in Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. This Brindley wall light, cast in solid brass and finished by hand in Upstream blue, carries on that same workshop tradition.

- Comes with a 5 year warranty.
- Wipe the brass and painted surfaces with a soft, dry cloth to keep them looking their best. Avoid abrasive cleaners on the painted finish.
