The Brindley wall light brings a directional, adjustable glow to any room. The shade sits on a brass knuckle joint so you can angle it exactly where you want the light to fall. This version pairs a smooth brass frame with a Heath green shade, a deep, earthy tone with real depth rather than a flat block colour.
Smooth Brass in Heath Green
The dome shade is finished in matte Heath green paintwork on the outside. Inside, it keeps its natural brass lining, so when the light is switched on, the glow reflects warmly off the polished metal. The arm, backplate and adjustable knuckle joints are left in smooth, unlacquered brass, giving a soft sheen that will develop its own patina over time.

- Shade measures 139mm in diameter and 124mm high, with a 224mm projection from the wall
- Circular wall rose is 105mm in diameter and 20mm deep
- Adjustable knuckle joint on the arm lets you angle the shade up, down or to the side
Where It Works Best
Its directional beam makes it a good fit for a bedroom, either side of a bed for reading, or for a hallway where you want a warm pool of light rather than a flat wash. From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, made at the same Welsh workshop, and this Brindley wall light in Heath green carries on that same small batch, hand finished approach.
