A Brindley Pendant With Character

The Brindley pendant brings a dome shaped silhouette and a warm glow to any room. This single pendant is spun from solid brass, then finished in Heath, an earthy green that gives the shade real depth and colour without feeling heavy in a space.

The Heath Finish

Heath is a muted, earthy green applied to the outside of the solid brass shade. Inside, the brass is left polished and untouched, so when the pendant is lit the light bounces off the bright brass interior and spills out in a soft, warm pool. The contrast between the matte green exterior and the gleaming brass inside is what gives this pendant its character.

• Supplied as a single pendant with a matching Heath green ceiling rose and 1.5m of black fabric cable.
• Comes fully wired with all the fixings needed to hang it.
• Takes an LED bulb only, 6W maximum, E27 fitting (bulb not included).

Where It Works Best

Its single drop and generous dome make it easy to hang on its own over a dining table or a kitchen island, or in twos and threes for a row of light along a run of worktop. The earthy green tone works well in kitchens, dining rooms and living rooms, and it also makes a good statement piece hung low in a hallway.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business went on to relocate to Llandrindod Wells in Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware. Lighting became part of the range later, still hand forged and hot forged from steel, brass and copper at the same Welsh workshop using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. This Brindley pendant is shaped and finished by that same team, using the hand forming and hand finishing methods the workshop has built its name on.
