The Brindley Cluster Pendant gathers five dome shaped shades onto a single ceiling rose, each one hung at a different length so the light falls in a staggered, sculptural line. It carries the same handmade character as the single Brindley pendant, multiplied into a fitting substantial enough to anchor a large room on its own.

Smooth Brass and Teasel Cream

Every shade in this cluster is spun from solid brass, then finished in a smooth, soft Teasel tone that reads as an off white with a warm, parchment undertone rather than a stark white. Turn a shade over and the brass reappears, left polished and unpainted inside so it throws a warm, golden glow once the bulb is lit. The contrast between the matte cream exterior and the gleaming brass interior is the detail that carries this finish.

How It Works

• Five Brindley shades hang from a single round ceiling rose, each on its own black fabric flex, giving the staggered cluster effect shown in the photographs.
• Lamp size per shade: 260mm diameter x 270mm, with a minimum drop height of 1500mm from ceiling to the lowest shade.
• Ceiling rose measures 400mm in diameter and 30mm deep.
• Takes a 6W maximum LED bulb with an E27 fitting, not supplied.
• Dimmable, provided dimmable bulbs are fitted.

Where It Works Best

Because the shades hang at different heights, this cluster works well anywhere a single flat pendant would look too plain, over a dining table, a kitchen island, or the open space above a staircase or hallway. From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business went on to relocate to Llandrindod Wells in Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware that still hand forges steel and hot forges brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. This Brindley cluster, with its hand finished brass shades and its cream Teasel tone, is one of the lighting pieces made at that same Welsh workshop.
