A Statement Cluster of Soot Grey Shades
The Brindley Cluster Pendant hangs five to six dome shades together from one ceiling rose, each staggered at a different height so the whole fitting reads as one sculptural piece rather than a row of matching lights. It is a bold way to bring several points of light into one space without cluttering the ceiling with separate fittings.
Smooth Brass in Soot
This version is spun from solid brass and finished in Soot, a dark charcoal grey that coats the outside of each shade. The brass itself stays exposed and polished inside every dome, so when the lights are on, a warm brass glow spills out from beneath the dark grey exterior. It is a striking contrast, moody on the outside and bright underneath.
How It Works
- Cluster of five to six dome pendant shades, each 260mm in diameter and 270mm high, suspended from one 400mm diameter ceiling rose.
- Each shade hangs on its own cable so you can stagger the heights, with a minimum drop of 1500mm from the rose.
- Takes a 6W maximum LED E27 bulb per shade. Bulbs are not supplied.
- Dimmable, provided you fit dimmable bulbs.
- Wired for mains electricity and should be fitted by a qualified electrician.
Where It Works Best
The scale of this cluster suits rooms with height and space to let the shades spread out. Think a dining table, a kitchen island, or the void above a staircase. It also works well in a bedroom, living room or hallway, provided the ceiling is high enough to let the shades hang at different levels.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later moved to Llandrindod Wells in Powys and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, made at the same Welsh workshop, and this Brindley cluster is spun and finished there using those same methods.

- Every fitting is made to order at the workshop in Wales, so it is non returnable once ordered.
- Comes with a 5 year warranty.
- Wipe the brass and painted surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which can mark the finish.
