A Cluster of Light for a Bigger Space
The Brindley cluster pendant hangs five domed shades at staggered heights from a single ceiling rose, so one fitting fills the space a single pendant cannot. Each dome is cast in solid brass, and even though the outside is painted a soft matt white, the light still glows warm and golden from the polished brass visible inside every shade.
The Flock Matt White Finish
Flock is a chalky, matt white coating applied over the smooth brass body of each dome. It has a soft, powdery look rather than a glossy paint finish, so it sits quietly against a white or pale wall rather than shouting for attention. Look up into any shade and the brass shows through unpainted, a bright ring of polished metal framing a warm brass interior.
How It Works
- Five domed shades hang from one round ceiling rose, staggered at different lengths.
- Each dome measures 260mm in diameter and 270mm high. The ceiling rose is 400mm in diameter and 30mm deep. You will need a minimum height of 1500mm to hang this pendant.
- Every shade takes one 6W maximum LED bulb with an E27 fitting. Bulbs are not included.
- The pendant is dimmable when fitted with dimmable bulbs.
Where It Works Best
Staggered clusters like this suit rooms with some height to play with. Hang it over a dining table or kitchen island so the lowest shade sits just above eye level, or use it to fill a stairwell or hallway where a single pendant would look lost. It also works well in a bedroom or living room as a statement piece over a seating area, rather than as the main everyday light.

From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The company later moved to Llandrindod Wells in Powys and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting joined the range later, made at the same Welsh workshop, and this Brindley cluster carries that same hand finished brass through to every shade.

- It comes with a 5 year warranty.
- Wipe the brass rim and shade gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid household cleaning sprays, which can dull the brass finish over time.
