A Cluster of Rounded Brass Shades in Dusk
The Brindley cluster pendant keeps the range's classic, rounded dome shape but groups several shades together, turning a single ceiling light into a fuller, layered fixture. Here it's finished in Dusk, a deep, twilight toned blue grey that sits over the solid brass shades.
The Dusk Finish
Dusk is a deep, cool toned blue grey painted over the smooth brass shade, while the inside of each shade keeps its natural polished brass, so the light glows warm gold against the darker exterior. It reads as a near charcoal blue in most rooms, with a hint of blue grey showing through in direct light.
How It Works
- Five to six dome shades supplied on staggered drops for a layered cluster.
- Each shade measures 260mm in diameter and 270mm high, with a minimum drop height of 1500mm from the ceiling rose.
- Supplied fully wired with a 400mm diameter ceiling rose and all the fixings needed to hang it.
- Dimmable when fitted with compatible dimmable LED bulbs.
- Each shade takes one LED bulb rated up to 6W with an E27 fitting, bulbs not included.
Where It Works Best
Hung at staggered heights, the Brindley cluster works well above a dining table or kitchen island, where the spread of shades can fill the space, or over a stairwell with enough headroom for the drop to fall properly. Its dark Dusk finish suits a bedroom, dining room, living room, hallway or kitchen that's already leaning into deeper, moodier tones rather than an all white scheme.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil started in 1996, when former metalwork teacher and joiner Mark Underhill bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business went on to relocate to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware. Lighting became part of the range later, and this Brindley cluster is hand forged and finished in Dusk at that same Welsh workshop.
