This Brindley Cluster Pendant hangs five shades together from a single ceiling point, each one spun from solid brass and finished in a soft, chalky Bluff grey. It brings the impact of a chandelier to a much simpler shape, ideal for anyone who wants a considered lighting moment without ornate detail.
Smooth Brass In Bluff Grey
Every shade is spun from solid brass, then given a smooth, matte Bluff finish, a warm, taupe leaning grey that sits happily against both cool and warm wall colours. The rim and interior are left in polished brass, so when a lamp is lit, a ring of warm gold shows around the base of each shade. Look closely at the join between shade and flex and you can see the rounded, hand finished neck that gives the range its name.
How It Works
- A cluster of five shades hangs from one round ceiling rose, which measures 400mm in diameter.
- Each shade takes a 6W max E27 LED bulb, not supplied.
- Dimmable when used with dimmable LED bulbs.
- Each shade measures 260mm in diameter and 270mm high, with the whole cluster hanging to a minimum height of 1500mm from the ceiling rose.

From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop. That same hot forged brass runs through every shade in this Brindley cluster, spun and finished by hand before its Bluff grey coat is applied.
