The Hockley pendant is a large cone shaped ceiling light, hand spun from solid brass and plated in nickel at From The Anvil's own workshop. Finished here in Tump, a soft, pale green, its wide sloping shade gives it a striking, sculptural silhouette overhead.

The exterior is coated in Tump, a chalky, hillside toned green with a matte surface. Inside, the shade is left in hammered nickel, its dimpled texture catching and scattering the light rather than reflecting it in one hard beam, so the pendant casts a warm, dappled glow once lit.

How It Works

• Single pendant light, supplied fully wired with a matching ceiling rose and all the fixings needed to hang it.
• Comes with 1.5m of black fabric cable as standard.
• Shade measures 510mm in diameter and 290mm in height, with a 120mm diameter ceiling rose.
• Takes one LED bulb rated up to 6W with an E27 fitting, bulb not included.
• Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business went on to relocate to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware that still hand forges steel and hot forges brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. The Hockley pendant's cone shaped shade is spun and finished at that same Welsh workshop, with its Tump exterior and hammered nickel interior both applied by hand.
