Spun from solid brass and finished in a soft, off white shade called Teasel, it brings warmth to a room even before the light is switched on. The Teasel Finish

Teasel is a chalky, parchment toned off white with a slight warmth to it, closer to cream than stark white. It sits on the outside of the shade, while the inside is plated in nickel and given a hammered texture by hand, so no two shades catch the light in quite the same way. The contrast between the matte cream exterior and the bright, textured interior is what gives this pendant its character.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. The Hockley pendant carries that same hand finished approach through to lighting, with its hammered nickel interior worked by hand in the same Welsh workshop.
