A Bold Cone Shade in Earthy Heath Green
The Hockley pendant is a single, wide angled cone shade, spun from solid brass and plated in nickel, then finished in Heath, an earthy matte green. Its broad, sculptural shape gives it real presence overhead, and once it is lit, a hammered nickel interior scatters the light into a soft, dappled glow rather than one hard beam.
The Heath Finish, Inside and Out
Heath sits on the outside of the shade as a flat, earthy green that reads closer to khaki than bright olive, while the inside is left in bright, hammered nickel with a fine dimpled texture. That contrast between the matte green exterior and the textured metal within is what gives this Hockley its character, rather than it being a single block colour top to bottom.

- Wide 510mm diameter shade, 290mm in height, with a 120mm diameter ceiling rose.
- Supplied fully wired with the matching ceiling rose and all the fixings needed to hang it.

Where It Works Best
Its scale makes the Hockley a strong single fitting over a kitchen island, dining table or in an entrance hall, and its wide angle throws light outward as well as down, so it also works well grouped in a cluster of two or three over a bigger table or a wider run of worktop. The earthy Heath tone suits a kitchen, dining room or living room that is already working with natural or muted colours, and it settles just as easily into a hallway.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working with his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business went on to relocate to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware. It still hand forges steel and hot forges brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering, with lighting added to the range later and made at that same Welsh workshop. The Hockley's nickel plated brass shade and its hammered interior are shaped and finished by hand there, in Heath green rather than the range's more usual brass or pewter tones.

Yes, as long as it is fitted with a dimmable LED bulb. A non dimmable bulb will not allow the light to be dimmed, even with a compatible dimmer switch.
