The Harborne pendant takes a classic dome shaped shade and gives it a softer, more relaxed character with a warm Teasel finish. It suits a kitchen, dining room or hallway that wants a fitting with real presence, without the shine of a fully metallic light.
The Teasel Finish
This Harborne pendant is spun from solid brass and plated in nickel before the outer shell is finished in Teasel, a soft off white with a faint cream undertone. The inside of the shade keeps its bright, hammered nickel texture, so when the bulb is lit it throws warm, dappled reflections around the room. Outside, the Teasel paint has a smooth, matte surface that sits quietly against white or pale panelling.

Where It Works Best
Hang one Harborne pendant low over a dining table or kitchen island for direct, focused light, or line up two or three for a longer run above a breakfast bar. From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop. The Harborne pendant carries that same hand finished character, with its Teasel coat and nickel plating both applied and checked by hand before it leaves Wales.
