The Hammered Nickel Finish

This Harborne is made from solid brass, plated in nickel. The outer dome is left smooth and polished, so it reflects light like a mirror. Inside the shade, the surface is hammered, adding texture that breaks up the light and gives the glow a gentler, more dappled feel.

Where It Works Best

From The Anvil

From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later moved to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later on, made at the same Welsh workshop. The Harborne's hammered nickel finish carries that same handmade character through into a pendant light for the home.

• What bulb does the Harborne pendant take? It takes one LED bulb with an E27 fitting, rated at 6W maximum. The bulb is not included.
• Is this pendant dimmable? Yes, as long as a compatible dimmable LED bulb is fitted. A standard, non dimmable LED will not dim even with a dimmer switch in place.
• How long is the cable? It comes with 1.5m of black fabric cable as standard, along with a matching ceiling rose.
• Can I return this pendant if I change my mind? No. Every From The Anvil fitting is made to order in Wales, so it is non returnable once the order is placed.
