A Cluster of Blue Light
This Brindley cluster pendant groups five to six shades on staggered flex drops from a single black ceiling rose, giving a spread of light for a table, an island, or an open stairwell. Rather than one dome, you get a whole scatter of them, layered at different heights for real visual depth.
Upstream Blue, Hammered Nickel Trim
Each shade is finished in a deep, muted Upstream blue with a matte surface. Where the dome meets its base, a band of hammered nickel is left exposed, its dimpled texture catching the light and giving each shade a warm, reflective edge against the flat blue paint.
How It Works
- Cluster of five to six Brindley pendant shades, hung at staggered heights from one black ceiling rose
- Ceiling rose measures 400mm in diameter and 30mm deep
- Each shade measures 260mm in diameter and 270mm high, with a minimum finished height of 1500mm once hung
- Each fitting takes a 6W max LED E27 bulb (not supplied)
- Dimmable, if used with dimmable bulbs
Where It Works Best
The staggered cluster suits rooms with some ceiling height to play with. Try it over a dining table or kitchen island where the different drop heights can spread out properly, or use it as a statement piece in a living room, hallway, or bedroom.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting, and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, made at the same Welsh workshop. That same workshop hand finishes every Brindley shade, including this Upstream blue cluster, one at a time.

- How many shades come with this cluster pendant? This fitting holds five to six Brindley shades, hung together on staggered flex drops from one ceiling rose.
- What bulbs does it take? Each shade takes a 6W max LED E27 bulb, which is not included, so you can choose the colour temperature you prefer.
- Can I dim this light? Yes, as long as you fit dimmable LED bulbs and use a compatible dimmer switch.
- How high does it hang? The cable drops give a minimum finished height of 1500mm, and the shades are staggered so the cluster spreads out rather than sitting level.
