The Brindley cluster pendant gathers five to six of From The Anvil's classic dome shades at staggered heights, so the light falls in pools rather than one flat pool of glare. In this Teasel colourway each dome is a soft, off white cream with a hammered nickel rim, a combination that feels warm from above and cool and reflective underneath.

The Teasel finish

Teasel is a soft, parchment toned off white, applied to the outside of each dome so the shade reads as a warm neutral against most ceilings and walls. The rim and interior of each dome stay in hammered nickel, and that hammered texture catches and scatters the light once a bulb is switched on, giving a gentle, dappled glow rather than a single hard beam.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business went on to relocate to Llandrindod Wells in Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware. Steel is still hand forged there today, and brass and copper hot forged using traditional methods alongside modern engineering, with lighting added to the range later at the same Welsh workshop. The Brindley cluster's hammered nickel rims carry that same hand finished character straight into a five light fitting.
