A hammered cluster with a moody, reflective finish
The Brindley cluster pendant hangs five hammered shades at staggered heights, each one catching light differently as it falls through the room. This version is finished in Soot, a dark charcoal grey that gives the group a modern, grounded look rather than a bright metallic one.
Hammered Nickel, Finished in Soot
Each shade is spun from solid brass and plated in nickel before being finished in dark grey Soot on the outside. The inside keeps its bright hammered nickel, so when a bulb is lit the surface glimmers and throws a soft, dappled light across the ceiling and walls.
How It Works
- Cluster pendant with a 5 to 6 light configuration, each shade suspended from its own black flex cable
- Ceiling rose measures 400mm diameter x 30mm, fixed centrally to the ceiling
- Each shade measures 260mm diameter x 270mm, with a minimum drop height of 1500mm
- Takes a 6W max LED E27 bulb (not supplied)
- Dimmable if dimmable bulbs are used
Where It Works Best
Hang it over a dining table, a kitchen island, or down a stairwell where the staggered shades have room to spread out. It also works well in a bedroom, living room, or hallway, wherever you want a cluster of light rather than a single pendant.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working with his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop. The Brindley shades in this cluster pendant carry that same hand finished character, plated and coated by hand at the Llandrindod Wells workshop.
