The Brindley cluster pendant gathers five to six dome shades onto one round ceiling rose, each shade hung at a different length so the whole fitting cascades down in a staggered spiral rather than sitting in a flat row. It brings the character of a single Brindley dome to a much bigger space, filling the air above a table or stairwell with light instead of just one point of it.
This version comes in hammered nickel. Every dome is spun from solid brass, then plated in nickel and polished to a bright, reflective shine on the outside. Turn a shade over and the inside keeps its dimpled, hand hammered texture, so once a bulb is fitted the light bounces off that uneven surface and spills out softened and slightly dappled rather than as one hard beam.
How It Works
- Cluster of five to six dome shades, each spun from solid brass and finished in hammered nickel, wired from a single round ceiling rose.
- Ceiling rose measures 400mm in diameter, with cables dropping to a minimum height of 1500mm before the first shade.
- Each dome shade measures 260mm in diameter and 270mm in height.
- Takes 6W maximum LED E27 bulbs, not supplied.
- Dimmable, if dimmable bulbs are fitted.

From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering, with lighting like this Brindley cluster produced at the same Welsh workshop. A pendant with this many hand finished shades takes that same forging process and multiplies it across every dome in the cluster.
