From The Anvil Hammered Copper Hockley Pendant - Upstream (Blue)

The Hockley pendant is a bold, wide angled shade with real sculptural presence. Spun from solid copper, it pairs a striking exterior colour with a warm metal interior, so it works as a strong single statement piece or as several hung together.

Upstream Blue, Hammered Copper Interior

This Hockley is finished in Upstream, a deep river toned blue, across the outside of the shade. Turn it over and the interior is hammered copper, left in its natural warm tone so it catches and bounces light back down into the room. The contrast between the matte blue face and the bright copper lining is what gives this particular finish its character.

How It Works

• Takes one LED E27 bulb, 6W maximum, not included.
• Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
• Supplied fully wired with a matching ceiling rose and all necessary fixings.
• 1.5m of black fabric cable provided as standard.
• Shade measures 510mm in diameter and 290mm in height, with a 120mm ceiling rose.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working with his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells in Powys and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting joined the range later, made at the same Welsh workshop, and this Hockley pendant's solid copper shade is a direct example of that hot forged copper work, given its colour here in Upstream blue.
