The Harborne pendant takes a classic rounded dome shape and pairs it with a hammered copper interior that catches and softens the light before it reaches the room. From outside, the dome sits in Dusk, a deep, twilight toned blue grey that gives the copper underneath a cooler, moodier edge. It is a single pendant, built to hang low and solo or in a group of two or three.

Finished in Dusk Over Solid Copper

Every Harborne shade is spun from solid copper, so weight and warmth sit under the surface even once it is coated. The Dusk finish sits over the outside of the dome in a matte dark blue grey, while the inside is left as hammered copper, its surface worked into a dappled texture that throws light unevenly rather than in one flat beam. The contrast between the cool exterior and warm copper interior is the main character of this finish.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil started in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The brand itself launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business went on to relocate to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware that still hand forges steel and hot forges brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. The Harborne pendant's hammered copper interior is a direct result of that hands on approach, shaped and finished at the same Welsh workshop rather than pressed by machine.
