The Harborne pendant brings a bold, retro dome shape to a room, spun from a single sheet of solid copper. It has real presence overhead, whether hung low over a table or grouped together above a counter.
Hammered Copper Finish
This Harborne is finished in a natural hammered copper. The outside of the dome is left smooth and highly polished, so it catches and reflects light, while the inside of the shade carries a hand hammered texture that softens the glow it throws down. Copper develops its own character with age and handling, so the tone will shift and mellow over time.
How It Works
- Takes a single bulb, 6W maximum LED with an E27 fitting (bulb not supplied).
- Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
- Supplied fully wired with a matching copper ceiling rose and all the fixings needed to hang it.
- Comes with 1.5m of black fabric cable as standard.
- Shade measures 400mm in diameter and 270mm in height, with a 120mm ceiling rose.
- One light per fitting, with no integrated LED, so you choose your own bulb.
Where It Works Best
Its size and warm tone suit a dining room, hung centrally over the table, or a kitchen, where two or three grouped together make a strong statement above an island or counter. It also works well in a living room as a single feature light, or in a hallway where its copper glow greets you at the door.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop, and the Harborne pendant is shaped and finished there by hand.
