A Directional Wall Light in Earthy Heath Green
The Brindley wall light swivels on two copper knuckle joints, so the shade can be angled up, down or across the wall to send light exactly where it's needed. This version is finished in Heath, a muted, earthy green that sits happily against both period and contemporary walls, with the hammered copper interior left exposed to warm the light as it's switched on.
The Heath Finish
Heath is a matte, earthy green applied over the Brindley's spun copper shade, giving it a grounded, natural tone rather than a bright or glossy one. Inside, the copper is left hammered and unpainted, so the dimpled surface catches and scatters the light into a soft, dappled glow rather than a single hard beam.
How It Works
- The shade and base both swivel on copper knuckle joints, so the light can be angled to suit the wall it's fitted to.
- Takes one LED bulb rated up to 6W with an E14 fitting, bulb not included.
- Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
- The shade measures 139mm in diameter with a 224mm projection from the wall, on a 105mm wall rose.
Where It Works Best

From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business has since grown into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware in Llandrindod Wells, Powys, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. This Brindley wall light is spun and finished at that same Welsh workshop, its copper shade hand forged before being finished in Heath.

Can the Brindley wall light be angled after it's fitted?
Yes. Both knuckle joints swivel, so the arm and shade can be repositioned to angle the light up, down or across the wall.
Does it come with a bulb?
No, bulbs are sold separately. The fitting takes one LED bulb with an E14 base, rated at 6W maximum.
Is this wall light dimmable?
Yes, as long as it's fitted with a dimmable LED bulb. A non dimmable bulb won't allow the light to be dimmed even with a compatible dimmer switch.
Why is this wall light non returnable?
Each one is made to order at From The Anvil's Welsh workshop rather than held as ready made stock, so orders can't be returned once placed.
