The Brindley wall light brings a bit of engineering charm to any wall. Its adjustable arm and dome shaped shade give it the look of an old workshop lamp, updated for a normal home. Hammered Copper Finish

This version is spun from solid copper and left with a hand hammered texture across the shade. Every dimple catches the light slightly differently, so no two fittings look quite the same. Inside the shade, the same hammered surface reflects the bulb's light in a warm, dappled pattern rather than a single hard beam. Copper also ages naturally over time, taking on a deeper, more burnished tone the longer it is on display.

Where It Works Best

Its directional head makes it useful anywhere you want light aimed at a specific spot rather than spread evenly across a room. Either side of a bed, it works well as a reading light. From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. This Brindley wall light carries that same hand finished copper work through to a fitting made for everyday use on the wall.
