The Brindley pendant is a classic dome shaped light that throws a wide pool of light and works just as well hung on its own as it does grouped together. This version pairs a muted, twilight blue grey exterior with a warm hammered copper interior, so the two metals play off each other rather than blending into one flat colour.

The Dusk Finish

Dusk is a soft, deep blue grey powder coat applied over solid copper, giving the shade a chalky, matte surface that catches light gently rather than reflecting it. Turn the shade over and the inside tells a different story. The copper there is left bare and hand hammered, so every dimple catches the light differently and throws a warm, dappled glow once a bulb is lit.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop. The contrast finish on this Brindley pendant, a powder coated exterior over a hand hammered copper interior, is a good example of that mix of traditional metalwork and modern finishing.
