The Brindley cluster pendant groups five to six domed shades under one ceiling rose, each one spun from solid copper and finished in Tump, a soft, hillside toned pale green. Hung at staggered heights, the group reads as one layered fixture rather than a row of matching lights, giving a grouped ceiling light real presence overhead.

The Tump Finish

Tump is a matte, pale green paint applied over the copper exterior of each dome, while the inside is left in bare hammered copper. That hammered texture catches the light unevenly once the bulbs are on, throwing a warm, dappled glow through each pale green shade rather than a flat wash of light.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working with his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting joined the range later, made at the same Welsh workshop, and the hammered copper inside every Tump shade comes directly from that hot forging process.
