A Cluster Of Light With A Warm, Handforged Finish
The Brindley cluster pendant gathers several dome shaped shades onto one ceiling rose, each hung at a slightly different height for a relaxed, layered look. This version pairs a soft Teasel off white exterior with a hammered copper interior, so the light itself carries a warm copper glow even before a bulb is fitted.
The Teasel Finish
Teasel is a muted, parchment toned off white, applied over spun copper and bronze domes. Turn one of the shades and you find a hand hammered copper lining inside the rim, its dimpled texture catching and warming the light as it spills out. The contrast between the matte pale exterior and the polished copper interior is the main character of this fitting.
How It Works
- A cluster of five to six lights hangs from one round ceiling rose, 400mm in diameter and 30mm deep.
- Each dome shade measures 260mm in diameter by 270mm in height, with a minimum overall drop of 1500mm.
- Every shade takes one 6W maximum LED E27 bulb, bulbs not supplied.
- The fitting is dimmable, provided dimmable bulbs are used.
Where It Works Best
The staggered heights suit a dining table, kitchen island, or a stairwell where you want light at more than one level. It also works well over a bed in a bedroom, in a living room seating area, or above a hallway console, anywhere a single pendant would look too plain.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. This Brindley cluster carries that same hand finished copper work into a piece made for grouped ceiling lighting.

- Every From The Anvil fitting is handmade to order at the workshop in Wales, so please allow lead time and note that it cannot be returned once ordered.
- It comes with a 10 year warranty.
- Wipe the shades with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which can mark both the painted finish and the copper lining.
