A Cluster That Fills a Room With Light
The Brindley Cluster Pendant groups five to six dome shades on separate cables from one ceiling rose, so a single fitting can light a whole table or a wide stretch of floor. Each shade keeps the classic bell shape of the single Brindley pendant, just gathered together and hung at staggered heights.
Soot Finish Over Hammered Copper
This version is finished in Soot, a dark charcoal grey that reads almost black across a room. Inside each shade the copper is left in its natural colour and hand hammered, so the metal catches the light and throws a warm, dappled glow downward once the bulb is on.
How It Works
- Five to six dome shades hang from one 400mm diameter ceiling rose, each on its own cable for a staggered cluster effect.
- Each shade measures 260mm in diameter and 270mm in height, with a minimum drop of 1500mm from the rose.
- Takes one E27 bulb per shade, LED up to 6W (bulbs not included).
- Dimmable, as long as you fit dimmable bulbs.
- Made from copper and bronze, with a hammered copper interior to the shades.
Where It Works Best
The spread of shades suits a dining table, a kitchen island, or a stairwell where the staggered heights have room to show. It also works well in a bedroom, living room, or hallway with enough ceiling height for the drop.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting joined the range later, made at the same Welsh workshop. The hammered copper on this cluster pendant is shaped using those same hot forging methods.
