The Brindley Cluster Pendant gathers five to six dome shades on staggered cords, turning one ceiling point into a spread of light at different heights. It has the look of an old factory light, softened for a home setting, and works well anywhere you want more than a single pendant doing the job.
Birch, in Pale Grey
This version is spun from solid copper and finished in Birch, a soft pale grey that sits gently against most wall colours. Turn a shade over and the hammered copper lining shows through, catching the light and giving each dome a warm glow once switched on. The pale grey exterior keeps the overall look calm and contemporary, while the copper edge and lining add a touch of warmth and texture.
How It Works
- Five to six dome shades hang together from one black ceiling rose, at staggered heights for a cascading effect.
- Each shade takes a 6W max LED E27 bulb (bulbs are not supplied).
- Dimmable, if dimmable bulbs are fitted.
- Ceiling rose measures 400mm in diameter and 30mm deep.
- Each shade measures 260mm in diameter and 270mm deep, with a minimum drop of 1500mm from the ceiling.
- Comes with the fittings needed to wire it in, ready for a qualified electrician to install.
Where It Works Best
The staggered drop makes this a natural fit above a dining table or kitchen island, where a cluster of light spreads over a wider surface than one pendant could manage. It also works well in a hallway or stairwell with enough height to let the shades fall properly, or as a striking central feature in a living room or bedroom.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business went on to relocate to Llandrindod Wells in Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware. Lighting joined the range later, still produced at the same Welsh workshop, using the same hot forging methods on copper and brass that shape the hammered lining on this pendant.

- Wipe the pale grey exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which can mark the finish.
- Copper is a natural material and will develop its own patina over time on the hammered lining, which is part of its character rather than a fault.
