A Sharp, Sculptural Cone in Pale Grey
The Hockley pendant swaps the rounded dome shape of some From The Anvil lights for a wide, angled cone, cut from solid brass and finished in a soft pale grey. It reads as a bold single statement piece, and its wide shade throws a broad, even spread of light into the room below rather than a narrow pool.
The Birch Finish
Birch is a pale grey exterior finish applied over the solid brass shade, left smooth and matte rather than glossy. Turn the shade over and the inside stays uncoated hammered brass, so once a bulb is lit, the hammered texture throws a warm, dappled glow up into the cone and back down into the room.
How It Works
- Supplied fully wired with a matching ceiling rose and all the fixings needed to hang it.
- Comes with 1.5m of black fabric cable as standard.

From The Anvil
From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business went on to relocate to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware that still hand forges steel and hot forges brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. The Hockley's cone shaped shade is cut and finished in Birch at that same Welsh workshop, with the hammered interior worked by hand rather than pressed by machine.
