Heath: An Earthy Green Exterior Over Hammered Brass

This version comes in Heath, a deep earthy green painted onto the outside of the shade. Turn it over and the story changes completely. The inside is left in natural hammered brass, worked by hand so every dimple is slightly different from the next. Light bounces around that uneven surface and comes out softened rather than harsh.

How It Works

• Takes one LED bulb, up to 6W maximum, fitted to an E27 base. The bulb is not included.
• Dimmable when used with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
• Supplied fully wired with a matching ceiling rose and all necessary fixings.
• Comes with 1.5m of black fabric cable as standard.
• Shade measures 400mm in diameter and 270mm in height. The ceiling rose measures 120mm in diameter.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The brand itself launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business later relocated to Llandrindod Wells in Powys, where it grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware. Steel is still hand forged and brass and copper still hot forged using traditional methods alongside modern engineering, and lighting like the Harborne is produced at that same Welsh workshop. The hammered brass interior on this pendant comes directly from that hand finishing process, so no two shades are ever quite identical.
